    1. Yes, she is so clear and compassionate. She helps victims understand themselves. And also, helps others understand abuse victims. I am glad it was helpful to you… and comforting! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

  1. Thank you for this. I took notes so I could stay focused. She is a good speaker and explains with clarity and compassion. I have difficulty understanding my own symptoms, much less explaining. This helped.

    1. I am so glad this was helpful to you. Yes, she is great. This was so helpful to me as well. It is worth watching a few times. I am sorry you are struggling so. It is very helpful to gain understanding of what we are dealing with and why. It doesn’t take the symptoms or the struggles away, but it does help to take the confusion away of why the struggles are there so that we are not overly hard on ourselves. Thank you for sharing. I do hope you find the help and support you need to be on a healing path.

  2. I watched this one today. It also was very good. I especially liked how she described talking about the spiritual impact of abuse. I could relate to that so much and I appreciated hearing her perspective on how to help those in this respect. It just validates again that my therapist is doing ok in his approach. I could see a lot of what he has said or portrayed to me. I also appreciated hearing the impact this type of work could have on them too, although I will say that left some feelings of guilt that probably shouldn’t be there. Thank you again for sharing these videos. They have really been good for me.

    1. I found myself concerned about my therapist as well. I mentioned this to her and she assured me that she is taking good care of herself in this regard. My therapist is very calm and centered which brings peace to me. I guess it was a good reminder to therapists who work with trauma victims. I think that was a natural response for us. I am glad she has helped you. I think her videos have done more to help me accept what my therapist has been telling me. I didn’t have the sense that I wish I had her for a therapist. I had the reaction that I already have one that has her approach. It is good that we could get that validation as well from her. Hugs!

      1. Yes, exactly! It helped me accept more of what mine has been saying to me as well and I felt more at peace with working with him and continuing to. I needed that. I’m looking forward to talking to him about all of this when I see him again.
