  1. Nice to hear people speak about this. I read Aron’s book in the 90s. Helped me make sense of myself. Mostly that I don’t want to be around people 24/7 or barely at all. I schedule days away from people and an hour or so every day to be alone. If I don’t have time to process my experience of life it gets all clogged inside of me. Everything has to stop until I process it all…

    1. I was glad I found this. The world doesn’t always see this strength in highly sensitive people. We often don’t understand ourselves and it doesn’t feel as though the world does either, which often makes us feel weak. And sometimes as though something is wrong with us. I am interested in reading this book. I hope it will help me feel more comfortable in my own skin and understand myself better. It was refreshing to have someone reframe what others have dismissed. Maybe it will give me another piece of the puzzle of understanding myself better. I think having Complex PTSD only complicates all of this. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
